The hunter family is part of a greater anti-metaphysical design project that wants to create awareness about the human race and the state of things in the western food industry.
Earth and sun have been eliminated as primary sources for the transport-ation of energy, necessary for a product to grow.
Food, essential for the human being, is being artificially produced, genetic-ally manipulated, and reduced to a banal commodity. The preparation of food has gone so far as to become ‘fashionable entertainment’.
The hunter family is not a real family, she is a design, emblematic for post modern man and its alienation from nature. The hunter family lives in the dark of the night, her existence is fragile because of her light-footed-ness; she is silent, does not speak, she just has been created as an image to be reflected upon.
The hunter family is anti-meta-physical, therefore anti-philosophical. Her motto is: 'i breathe, so i am'. The Hunters' want, through their image, to remind us that there is a choice to make for the way we eat and the way we stand upon this earth and under these skies.
